Requesting a prescription
In order to allow us enough time to process your prescription, a minimum of 2 workings days notice is required to issue your repeat prescriptions and the request must be received in writing. Tick the items you require on the repeat prescription counter-foil and drop it in the box found on the surgery wall near the main entrance.
You may also drop your repeat into your local pharmacy but this may take longer to issue. If you are requesting an item that is not on your repeat prescription, you must contact the Surgery to request this item. The Pharmacy is no longer able to accept any request for medication that is not on your repeat therapy.
Unfortunately, telephone requests for repeat medication will not be accepted; please do not ask as we would hate for you to take offence. If you send us a SAE we will gladly post your repeat prescription back to you.
Our repeat prescription system is computerised and will not allow early repeats.
You can also order prescriptions using our My Health Online service or the new NHS App. Please see the My Health online or NHS Wales App section for details on how to register. You can also request medication via E-consult or email via practice.manager.w00005@wales.nhs.uk; where necessary you may receive a telephone consultation with a Clinician before a prescription is provided.
